M. Jay Meyers, admitted to Idaho State Bar, 1974; Wyoming

University (B.A., Business Administration, 1971); University of Idaho (J.D.,
1974).
Practice Areas of Emphasis: Business Law and Litigation, Estate Planning and Administration, Real Estate Matters, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury Defense. As Senior Partner, Jay brings more than 25 years’ experience to the firm, including a wide range of successful trial and appellate cases. With an undergraduate degree that emphasized accounting and business, Jay built upon that knowledge with years of legal and professional experience such as serving six years as a State chartered bank director. Jay now represents a number of major business, banking, estate and investment administration clients. Since 1985, Jay has also provided legal counsel and services to the Idaho State Insurance Fund as a Special Deputy Attorney General. Jay earned the respect and recognition of his peers early on. At age 35 he was elected President of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, a 600+ member organization. He was the youngest ever elected ITLA President. Jay also served two terms as a member of the Idaho Supreme Court Civil Litigation Rules Committee. Jay is presently a member of the Idaho State Bar Professional
